Saturday, April 23, 2022, the Santi Wana Eco Community, in collaboration with Green World Foundation, organized the 1st Pond Detective activity for children and parents, with 21 participants in total.
The activity went well. Children had fun and got to learn about insects in an aquatic ecosystem as well.
It started off with the activity of understanding scientific foundations and skills by exploring through games and brochures.
In the afternoon, the children were divided into groups and got to practice. They explored the aquatic ecosystem in Santi Wana. There were more than 20 species found in water.
This is the measurement of water quality. It was clean and ecologically rich because the biodiversity and the food chain in the ecosystem are complete.
