Santi Wana Eco Community Project
Biodiversity
The community is an example of how to conserve the ecological balance, soil, water, and forest in urban areas (Bangkok). We aim to create biodiversity by growing various types of trees and to be the habitat of birds, butterflies, insects, and fish. That way, we could maintain the abundance of natural food chains.

Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University, Bang Khen had surveyed large plants in the area. In 2021, there were 346 trees with a total of 73 species in the Santi Wana Eco Community.
More than 90 species of birds were found in the Santi Wana Eco Community and nearby (Feb 26, 2022). There are many birds in the community due to the lack of green space in the city. Birds, therefore, gathered to live in this area. Santi Wana has brought such a diverse ecosystem with large trees, ponds, aquatic plants, and reeds as habitats and food for various birds.
